BUYING A HOME INFORMATION
It is recommended that you have a home inspection. A home inspection provides you with an objective visual examination of the structure and systems of a home, from roof to foundation. A standard inspection report summarizes the inspection of the condition of the subject home’s heating, and cooling systems, interior plumbing and electrical systems; the roof, attic, and visible insulation; walls, ceilings, floors, windows and doors; foundation, and all the visible structures of the home. A home inspection summarizes the condition of the property and points out the need for major repairs and identifies areas that may need attention in the future. You want a home inspection to maximize your knowledge of the property before finalizing an agreement for purchase.
