We start a full 2 months before you actually move, and progress week by week on a schedule of things to be done. Moving is hard for kids!
They are starting over, leaving behind familiar places and important friends. They, need to seeking new friends and adjusting to a new home, neighborhood, and school. Children need caring adults to listen and help them adjust to their new home. 'You need to think about your children's needs before, during, and after the move. YOU can make a big difference in how your kids feel about the move and how they adjust afterwards. Moving isn't just stressful for people, it's equally stressful for pets. So when it comes to moving pets, pre-planning is very important as animals can be very sensitive to changes in their surroundings. In our experience sometime during the Relocation Process you will need to stay in accommodations other than your new home. Whether it is during one of your trips to decide whether Las Cruces is the place you want relocate or retire, during a house hunting trip, or for a period of time until your new home is ready for you to settle into.
