Mesilla Restaurant
The La Posta de Mesilla Restaurant is located in the La
Posta Compound, which was originally constructed in the 1840's. The Compound
became an important stop on the Butterfield Stagecoach line, and one of the finest lodging on the route. The La Posta
restaurant was first opened in 1939.The business has grown to become one of the most famous restaurants in the Southwest. more

San Albino Church
San Albino Church was established in 1851, making it one
of the oldest missions in the Mesilla Valley. The current building was
constructed on the foundation of the original adobe church.

Fountain Theatre
Built in 1905, the
Fountain Theatre is New Mexico's oldest movie house, and in the early days,
presented both cinema and vaudeville performances. The theatre is still owned by a member of the Fountain family. In addition to being the oldest theatre in New Mexico, the Fountain Theatre also bears the distinction of being the only continuously-operating movie theatre in the state.more
